Notice of Spring Election of School Board Members

(s. 10.01 (2)(b), 10.01 (2)(d), and 120.06 (8)(c), Wisconsin Statutes)

Notice is hereby given to the qualified electors of the Parkview School District, of the Villages of Footville and Orfordville; Towns of Avon, Center, Magnolia, Newark, Plymouth, Rock and Spring Valley, Rock County, Wisconsin that on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, a spring election of school board members will be held. Candidates for the three (3) vacancies on the school board are as follows:

NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
PARKVIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT

April 7, 2026

Election Details
An election is to be held in the Parkview School District, the Villages of Footville and Orfordville; Towns of Avon, Center, Magnolia, Newark, Plymouth, Rock, and Spring Valley, Rock County, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.

  • School Board Member Fredd A. Carr
  • School Board Member Arthur Gibeaut

Office Terms
The term of office for school board member is three years beginning on Monday, April 27, 2026 and expiring on April 22, 2029. A description of the school district boundaries can be obtained from the school district office.


For Candidates
A Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy, must be filed no later than 5:00p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in the office of the school district clerk at 106 W. Church Street, Orfordville, WI 53576.

Primary Election
If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
