PAVE is a tuition-free public school that ensures an individualized, rigorous, and supportive academic, college and/or career-ready virtual environment that values the success of all students.

It is our mission to prepare all students for their future college programs and/or their career path through a virtual environment, with the completion of a high school diploma along with real world knowledge through tech courses, job shadowing, work study, and/or youth apprenticeship experiences.

Will students have to reapply each year?

Once a student is accepted into PAVE they are offered automatic readmission for the subsequent years, unless they choose to enroll back into the common school.

Who is qualified to attend PAVE?

Because PAVE is a free, public school, it is open to all students grades 6-12. Prior to enrollment, an informational/orientation meeting is required for parents before final enrollment is determined. We are committed to making certain that PAVE is the right fit for both students and parents.

If PAVE were to receive more applications than fit into its available spots, there will be a lottery to fill the available spots.

Please note that the District may have space limitations for students with IEPs.

- Families will receive enrollment directions admission is confirmed via email.

- Prior to school starting in the fall, families will complete online registration via Skyward Family Access.

The Lottery Process

The requirements for admission lottery to PAVE Charter School:

The Governance Board will set the enrollment limits by January 31 of the calendar year for the following school year. If the number of enrollment applications exceeds the enrollment limit, the school will select students on a random lottery basis. The PAVE Charter School will give preference to pupils and siblings of pupils who are already attending the PAVE Charter

School. In addition, PAVE will give preference to children of the PAVE founders, governing board members, and full-time employees but the total number of such children given preference will constitute no more than 10 percent of PAVE’s total enrollment. A waiting list will be maintained for students who are not selected in the random lottery. The waiting list will be utilized until September 1st of the upcoming school year to fill open seats.
